INTERIOR

The Pure Spirits dining room is one of the most famous rooms in Toronto. Nearly one hundred years ago, when temperance societies and prohibition ruled America, it was from this very room that the whiskey barrels began their clandestine journeys across the lake and around the world. Today, while more refined spirits are served up, people come for the ambience and amazing food, particularly the fresh fish and oysters. The 28-seat long bar, provides ring-side oyster-shucking entertainment, while private booths for 2 or 4 are perfect for a cozy, private affair.

PATIO

“Best Patio in Toronto” is how the media and regulars describe it. Large enough to have room, yet small enough to have its own intimate personality, Pure Spirits' patio is visually striking, with its old, red-brick walls, masses of flowers and cool white umbrellas. Full menu service is offered from lunch through after-theatre making it one of the best places to relax and people-watch. With Toronto's reputation as Hollywood North and the many films that are shot at The Distillery, it's also a great place to spot a favourite celebrity!
